Management of Value (MoV)

Foundation certificate

Aligning the established methods with the Cabinet Office programme and project management, this guidance helps organisations supplement their current management practices to increase the value they deliver and make better use of resources. Candidates will learn about the key principles, terminology and techniques used within MoV guidance.

Who is this aimed at?

Three groups of people:

  • Management and staff in an organisation wishing to acquire an understanding of MoV, whether MoV is embedded in their organization or not.
  • The PPM community, for whom the guide is aimed at those involved in directing, managing, supporting and delivering portfolios, programmes and projects.
  • Those who apply the methods in other PPM guides to build on and enhance the activities to maximise value and delivery of benefits.

What are the entry requirements?

None. Training with a BCS accredited training provider is recommended.

What format is the exam?

  • One hour ‘closed book’ 
  • 50 multiple choice questions
  • Pass mark is 50% (25/50)
