Practitioner certificate

In addition to exhibiting the competences required for the Foundation qualification, Practitioner candidates need to show that they could apply P3O guidance to design, implement and manage a P3O model. Specifically this includes defining the business case and using appropriate tools and techniques to build and run the right P3O model.

Who is this aimed at?

Anyone who wants to take an active role in any of the offices described in the P3O model. While it is particularly suited to candidates fulfilling the Management and Generic roles described in Appendix A of the P3O guide l, it will also be relevant others who see the P3O model as a framework for a career path.

What are the entry requirements?

Foundation certificate in P3O.

What format is the exam?

  • Two and a half hours ‘open book’ (official book only)
  • Objective testing
  • Four questions of 20 marks each (80 marks in total)
  • Pass mark is 50% (40/80)

How do I re-register my practitioner status?

All P3O practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 calendar years of their original certification.
