BCS membership for CCP Scheme applicants

As part of our CCP Scheme we are providing applicants with a year's membership of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Access to membership for a year offers you the experience of belonging to the leading professional body for IT. Membership can help support you through your CCP Journey and provides access to benefits which include:

How do I apply for membership via the CCP scheme?

Once you have applied for CCP, you will need to indicate within the CCP written submission form that you wish to apply for membership.

When can I apply?

Only CCP applications received on or after 21 July 2014 will be eligible for the offer. You must opt into the offer via the written submission form. This offer is not available to existing BCS members.

When will my membership begin?

Upon receipt of your written submission we will assess your eligibility for membership. Once this assessment has taken place we will award the most appropriate grade of membership based on the information provided. Grades of membership which apply to this offer are Affiliate, Associate and Professional.

How long will my membership last with this offer?

This offer is designed to provide non-members with an opportunity to experience one year’s full membership of BCS. On renewal of your membership you will be asked to pay the annual fee.

Can I upgrade?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time during your year’s membership. If your upgrade is successful you will be required to pay the annual membership fee for the new grade.

I didn’t opt into the offer in the written submission, can I still apply?

Yes, providing you submitted your application after 21 July 2014 and your application is still in progress, you can apply for this offer. Please contact our Customer Service team on +44 (0)1793 417 722 so we can check your eligibility.
