Intermediate Certificate

This course deals with an organisation’s strategy and provides an understanding of the use and cost of energy in data centres. In addition to learning best practices, candidates will learn about metering requirements to comply with the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

Who is this aimed at?

Anyone who works within a data centre environment, this includes: managers, operators, design consultants, technicians, engineers, IT purchasers, IT architects, IT consultants, and CSR or environmental champions.

What are the entry requirements?

None. Training with a BCS accredited training provider is recommended.

What format is the exam?

  • One hour ‘closed book’
  • 25 multiple choice questions
  • Pass mark is 60% (15/25)
