Foundation certificate

This certificate provides an understanding of the principles of project management with techniques to support industry good practice which are complementary to PRINCE2®. Candidates will also learn about project planning, monitoring and control.

Who is this aimed at?

This certificate is appropriate for anyone involved in or affected by IT projects; this extends to users, buyers and directors.

What are the entry requirements?

None. Training with a BCS accredited training provider is recommended.

What format is the exam?

  • One hour ‘closed book’ 
  • 40 multiple choice questions
  • Pass mark is 65% (26/40)
